last minute changes
for some of the race classe...

Do to people being concerned about having
too many classes with little or no bike counts
within those classes and/or concerns about
the success of this event… It was brought to
my attention that maybe we should do an
11.50 & Faster bracket class with a huge
payout??? I came back with one better… How
about a huge
Two Day Big Bucks
Motorcycle Bracket Race???
My reason
for this is I believe the motorcycle drag racing
community should have their very own Two
Day Big Bucks Bracket Race such as what the
B&M Million Dollar Bracket race is down in the
south for this area… I am in need of everyone’
s support on this and that I am willing to go
out on a limb here…

First let me announce what classes I am
doing away with so that everyone knows.

Top Gas 8.20 (This was to be added at the
last minute, However from what I understand
there might have not been enough entries to
cover the purse needed???)
Super Comp 8.90
9.99 & Faster
10.0 No-E & Slower
12.01 & Slower
Now with this being said, here is the
new idea / concept that I would like to
try for the
1st Annual Summer Set
Nationals.
For an end of the year all
exclusive motorcycle only drag race event
I would like to create in time the largest
Two Day Big Bucks Bracket Race Challenge!!!
11.50 and Faster (with Electronics), Full Tree-
5/10, up to 35 bikes, $1000.00 to win,
$500.00 Runner-up and $200.00 Semis. If we
have over 35 entries, payouts increase to
$1500.00 to win, $500.00 Runner up and
$200.00 Semis.

Now here is where it gets interesting… If we
can get 50 or more entries within this class
then the payout will be as follow… $2,000 to
win, $750 to Runner-up and $200 to Semis…
If we get 75 entries within this class???
Then the payout will be as follow… $3,000 to
win, $1,000 to Runner up and $300 to
Semis!!!!

Please keep in mind that these figures
posted above are for each day of the event.
Entry Fee for this class is $60 for Saturday
and $60 for Sunday. If you wish to enter both
days? Then the entry is $100 but has to be
paid prior to 1st round of eliminations on
Saturday.

Please note that the qty of bikes needed to
make said purses is on each day of its own.
Meaning if we have 28 bikes on Saturday?
Then the payout is as posted above… If the
qty is say 42 on Sunday? Then that payout is
as posted above. Each day stands on its own…
Now for the topic of Buy Backs???? Here is
where it gets hairy…

What I would like to do for this event after
the 2nd round of eliminations if you have
been eliminated from competition? You can
enter a 2nd chance race for $30… There will
be buy backs back in the 2nd chance race for
1st and 2nd round only… Buy Backs in the
2nd chance race is $20… Payout for the 2nd
chance race is 1st, 2nd & 3rd 70% payback…
The other class for this event is an No-
Electronics class. $30.00 entry Saturday and
$30.00 entry Sunday Or $50.00 to enter both
days, but have to buy in on Saturday prior to
1st round of eliminations. 70% Payback both
days.

Please note that I do not want to leave the
No-Electronics class out of the big monies as
well due to I believe everyone should have a
shot at making some real monies here… I
am not sure what the turnout will be for this
1st year event??? But if we go by the same
numbers mention above??? And due to the
entry is half what the 11.50 & Faster class is…
Here is what I am willing to do for the No-
Electronics class.

If we have under 35 entries we will do the
payout listed above for this class… However if
we have over 35 entries the payout will be as
followed… $700 to Win, $200 to Runner-up
and $100 to Semis… If we can get more than
50 entries in this class? Then the payout will
be as followed $900 to Win, $400 to Runner-
up and $200 to Semis… If we can get more
than 75 entries in this class? Then the payout
will be as followed…$1,200 to Win, $600 to
Runner-up and $300 to Semis
Buy Backs will be allowed in this class for 1st
and 2nd round only. Buy Backs for this class
is $20…

Please also note that the following classes
will remain the same as posted all year.
Funny Bike/Top Fuel Challenge

Funny Bikes; Nitro vs. Nitrous vs. Turbo / (All
Field Run)
(Top 8 Qualified get entries back)
Entry Fee $100, Pay $2,500 Win, $800 R-up,
$200 Semis

Pro Street; No Wheelie Bar or Slick / Anything
Goes / Pro Tree
Entry $100, Payout $700 to Win, $200 R-up,
$75 Semis

Street Fighter (600cc & under) No Bar or Slick
/ Pro Tree
$30 Entry, $300 to Win, $100 R-up, $50
Semis

Super Street Bike 9.50 Entry $50 Entry, $500
to Win, $200 R-up, $100 Semis

All Harley ET Bracket Class (Pro Tree) $35
Entry, $400 to Win, $100 R-up, $50 Semis
There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies
and 1st Place winners jackets for all the race
classes minus the 2nd chance race.
If you are needing some Test-n-Tune passes
prior to racing on Saturday??? We will be
running a tight schedule all weekend. Please
show up Friday so that you can make all of
the time trial passes you want…  Remember
that gates open Friday @ 4:30pm and the
lanes will be open for Test-n-Tune from 5:30
to 8:30. Tech Cards are $20. If there is
enough interest? Will do a gamblers race that
evening with an entry of $25…
Please note that for spectators for this
event… Friday is $10 or aweekend pass for
$35. Saturday is $15 or a weekend pass for
$30… Sunday is $20…
Also note that while the racing is taking place
both days, That there will also be a DYNO
